Taylor Swift finally released the trailer for her new Netflix documentary, Miss Americana, and I’M SCREAMING! Directed by Emmy winner Lana Wilson, the film looks like it dives in to topics Taylor hasn’t really talked about before. She’s dealt with and had to stay silent about a lot (including her political views, her personal life, and even her feelings at times), but this changes everything. She’s even quoted in the trailer saying “I’ve had to deconstruct an entire belief system, toss it out, and reject it.” She’s no longer “fighting for people’s respect.” She’s doing what she wants, and her fans are standing behind her.
“Miss Americana” will be shown in select theaters and on Netflix starting January 31.
