Jimmy was bitten by the “radio bug” at age 14 when he built a “pirate” radio station in his basement in Jamestown, NY, and landed his first job on his 16th birthday at WKSN-AM, down the street from where he grew up. Since then, Jimmy’s career has taken him to various markets, including Nashville, St. Louis, Columbus, OH and San Diego, CA. Jimmy couldn’t be more excited to call Indy home and to host afternoon drive on 107.9 The Mix! When not playing the greatest hits from the 80s, 90s, and today, Jimmy enjoys photography, hiking, camping and the outdoors. Jimmy also enjoys all things “Science”, is an amateur astronomer and private pilot. When not enjoying the outdoors, Jimmy enjoys cooking and a glass of Cabernet!
