The irony that the show I used to watch with my ex is not lost on me, but I am still sad to report that Netflix has made the decision to cancel the show “Glow” starring Alison Brie and Betty Gilpin. If you haven’t watched it before, it’s a remake of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling that came out in the 80s. GLOW was about to wrap up with a 4th and final season, but we won’t get that closure.

“The series was about three weeks into filming its final season earlier this year when production was forced to halt.”
One of the contributors to making this show hard to shoot during a pandemic is the nature of the content… there’s a lot of touching. They have to get very close to each other when they are tossing each other across the ring. Makes sense — it just sucks because they got the renewal and then it was taken away.
