Alex Warren canceled his scheduled Auckland concert on Monday, August 24, after illness left him unable to perform. In a message shared with fans, the singer said he was bedridden, could barely speak, and was not physically capable of singing.
The tour promoter later confirmed the cancellation, saying the decision followed medical advice. Warren acknowledged that some fans had traveled to Auckland specifically for the show and expressed disappointment that the concert could not go ahead as planned.
The performance was scheduled for Spark Arena as part of Warren’s Finding Family on the Road World Tour. Fans holding tickets for the canceled Auckland date are expected to receive refunds through the original point of purchase.
Warren’s tour is scheduled to continue with dates in Australia. No replacement date for the Auckland performance has been announced.
The cancellation came during a busy touring period for Warren, whose recent music success has expanded his international audience and brought him to larger venues around the world.
