Dolly Parton impressed the music world in 2023 when she proved that she’s more than a country music legend. She recorded with the likes of Elton John, Paul McCartney and Miley Cyrus. They all appeared on her album, ‘Rockstar’. That’s when Dolly first recorded with Nikki Sixx. WhiskeyRiff.com reported that Motley Crue reached out to Dolly, asking if she would sing their classic hit for it’s 40th anniversary. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this song will help fund the efforts of Covenant House, which provides shelter, meals and counseling for homeless youth across the U.S. and Canada.

‘Home Sweet Home’ is a rockin’ ballad that showed off the talents of Motley Crue back in the 80’s and is still loved today. To add the voice of Dolly Parton just works. She has the range for her voice to be soft but then push it to hit the high notes. It’s fantastic! Take a listen:
