One of the most beloved characters on TV has sadly died. George Wendt, who played Norm on the hit TV series, ‘Cheers’, died yesterday. No official word yet on the cause of his death, but his family shared, “George died peacefully in his sleep while at home”. We should all be so fortunate. I was a fan of his one-liners on ‘Cheers’….

George’s career went beyond TV. I enjoyed him playing Fat Sam in the 1985 movie ‘Fletch’. Fans tuning into Saturday Night Live laughed along with his famous, ‘Da Bears’ skits. Thank you Norm…er, George, for the laughs and memories~
