The first novel from Stephen King that was turned into a movie was, ‘Carrie’ in 1976. But that wasn’t King’s first book. It was ‘The Long Walk’, but ‘Carrie’ was the first to be published by a major publisher. Now, ‘The Long Walk’ is being turned into a very suspenseful film. Watch the trailer below and you’ll see what I mean. The concept is surrounded by a contest in which a group of men are on a ‘long walk’. Seems safe enough, right? Well, if you stop walking, let’s just say, you’re finished, literally. This so reminds me of something horror novelist, M. Night Shyamalan would create. No release date mentioned or any big actors, but with a story like this, you don’t need an ‘A’ list actor~
