‘The Simpsons’ Killed Off a 34-Year-Old Character —Fans Are Shocked!

There’s an empty barstool at Moe’s Tavern.

Fox’s long-running sitcom “The Simpsons” killed off one of its familiar characters in Sunday night’s episode — Larry the Barfly.

While casual fans might not know the balding man by name, Larry has had a spot at Moe’s since, Season 1’s “Homer’s Odyssey” that aired back in January 1990 — more than 34 years ago.!

This got me to thinking of other TV characters that are fixtures and then with the stroke of a keyboard are gone aka killed off. What character from a TV series that was killed off maybe ticked you off or made you shed a tear? For me it was Doctor McDreamy, AKA Dr. Derek Shepherd from Grey’s Anatomy.
