According to People, the movie will follow the same story as shown in her music video:
The singer did not share any additional details about the “Sk8er Boi” movie, but the upcoming project will follow the music video she created for the song, which tells the story of a ballet dancer who secretly falls in love with an eventual rock star but rejects him because of his “skater boy” appearance.
There are some rumors that the ballet girl will be played by one of a handful of TikTokers:
Like Addison Rae.
Or Dixie D’Amelio.
It’s not clear when the movie will come out, but you can bet I’m about to find a stripy neck tie and a belt covered in those square studs in preparation!
