By now if you haven’t watched Friends: The Reunion on HBO Max you’ve probably heard all about it AND if you’re a fashion freak like me, you may or may not have picked up on this subtle character nod.

Jennifer Aniston, who played the fun and fashionable Rachel Green, pointed out on social media that she wore a staple top in Green’s wardrobe: a sleeveless mock turtleneck. She posted a comic of a woman holding a knife to a sleeveless mock turtleneck asking it “What time of year are you for!” to her Instagram Stories and then a collage of photos of her as Green and what she wore during some of the reunion special with a shrug emoji.
