There’s a lot of buzz going around in the Marvel Universe. From WandaVision to the upcoming release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, all eyes are on what Marvel will do next, and Amy Poehler has an idea.
Amy stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers Thursday night to chat about her new movie Moxie, how much she hates people, and the whole reason why you’re reading this, the Marvel Universe. Kathryn Hahn, who worked with Amy on the set of Parcs and Rec, also plays Agnes on WandaVision. Seth started asking Amy about her time working with Kathryn and then segwayed the conversation asking Amy who she would like to play in any Marvel movie or show and Amy was ready to answer.
“I do feel like there’s a lot of room in the Marvel Universe for people who could just be like the helpers. I feel like I could be Brie Larson’s bossy sister who’s not in the biz….you want me to turn on the lazers? I feel like there needs to be somebody turning on the lazers. Because you never see that! You never see who’s turning things on and off, who’s closing up the headquarters at night, and I’m so jealous of all these mother f***** in Austrailia right now. Everyone’s like ‘I’m on the set of Thor.’ ‘No I’m on the set of Thor!'”
She even goes so far as to audition on the spot. You have to watch it!
