Growing up I always loved watching the 1996 movie 101 Dalmations. Not only did Glenn Close become a literal cake, but there were lots of dogs, so nuff said. The story now continues as Disney teased its upcoming movie, Cruella. I can’t wait to see it as one of my favorite actresses, Emma Stone, is the lead! Not only did they release the official movie poster on Tuesday, but they released the official trailer today.

Now I know what you’re thinking, how could Emma Stone ever come close to Glenn Close’s portrayal? Well, Cruella is actually a prequel to the first live-action film and is set in 1970s London and “will follow a young Estella de Vil as she pursues a career in fashion design,” said Pop Sugar. In 2019, Emma revealed it was “trippy” and “wild” being on set and referred to Glenn as being the greatest of all time Cruella. “I think she’s obviously the GOAT, but I also have just loved the cartoon for a really long time,” reported Marie Claire.
