The Centers for Disease Control has released new recommendations on how to make your mask fit your face better in order to boost the effectiveness of wearing one.

After research, the experts have decided that there are two mask methods that better limit exposure to COVID-19:

  1. fitting a cloth mask over a medical procedure mask
  2. knotting the ear loops of a medical procedure mask and tucking in and flattening the extra material close to the face

These methods come with the assumption that you are wearing a medical procedure mask, but you can find the CDC recommendations for choosing what kind of mask to wear here!
