New Indy Campaign Pushes Hoosiers To Go “Back Downtown”

The whole country has taken a hit with pandemic precautions and protests that led to some vandalism and Downtown Indy is no exception. Businesses have seen less foot traffic as a result of many people not working in their downtown offices in an effort not to spread the coronavirus. To add to that, you may have seen boarded up windows and tagged walls after protests against the social injustices still happening in our nation.

Ultimately, our downtown is hurting and there is a new campaign to pick it up and dust it off with a refreshed, positive perception. CBS 4 says we should look out for video ads on social media that hype up Downtown Indy and encourage visits. This campaign rolls out today.

In the meantime, if you’re looking for a reason to go out and support local already, Devour Indy is going on right now with special multi-course menus at favorable price points — downtown has a slew of options!

Grab a mask and stay 6 feet away. And don’t forget we have a gorgeous canal that lends itself to relaxing walks and bike rides.
