Ben Affleck is returning as Batman.
Affleck will reprise his role as the Caped Crusader in Warner Bros.’ standalone film for The Flash.
Ben had stepped down from playing the role three years ago but agreed to come back as Batman after seeing the script last week.
“He’s a very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie,” said director Andy Muschietti. “The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck’s Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven’t seen before.”
