Back in February two IU Bloomington students were diagnosed with mumps. They were roommates who lived off campus according to the Indy Star. Now a third student who also lives off campus has been diagnosed, which officially makes it an outbreak.

The third student is currently on spring break somewhere off campus. Said student apparently was updated on vaccinations. The school is now working with the county to figure out next steps.

Mumps symptoms include fever, muscle aches, headache and loss of appetite. You should see a doctor immediately if you have symptoms and avoid people for five days after symptoms start.
