Goo Goo Dolls recently released a new single, “Beautiful Lie,” along with an accompanying video, via Warner Records.

The multi-platinum, four-time Grammy-nominated rock band’s frequent collaborator Alex Aldi produced and mixed the song, which was co-written with Matt Squire. David Patino directed the visual.

“The song is a departure from our latest album, ‘Chaos In Bloom,'” Goo Goo Dolls’ frontman John Rzeznik said about the song. “It is a simple song, very chill. It felt fresh to me and I hope you enjoy it.”

The band is likely to perform the song during their upcoming shows in Australia and New Zealand with Matchbox Twenty, which start February 13.
