About 5 years ago I went to visit my sister in Queens, NY where she lived for many years. Being in Indy means I don’t get to see my nieces a ton and at that time little Alice wasn’t even a thought and Naya was only 2 or so?
We were going somewhere and I was in the back seat bonding with one of my favorite little monsters who at that time was having a sad moment. I don’t have kids but from what I’ve heard most of the saddest moments involves wanting a snack. So my sister, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, wrenched her arm around to hold Naya’s hand. I was blown away by the freakish way her arm bent around to reach back and so I took a picture. I slapped some meme words on that thing and posted it on one of our radio station’s Facebook page. NOW… You can find it on mommy blogs, Pinterest, Facebook, all over! I’ve seen it shared well over 100K’s times, 10’s of thousands of comments, and so many likes! It’s pretty cool. Once in a while I’ll find it somewhere and shoot my sister an email and say “YUP. You arm is still famous”. 🙂
